How To Tie and Wear Your Sarong?
It
is not all the complicated to tie a sarong. Like everything, it just takes a little
patience, practice, imagination, and a sense of fun. I am
in awe of some people that use such creativity to tie their
sarong. Send us your
photo of how you tie your sarong and we'll post it here to help
others.
Usually you begin with the sarong behind you
horizontally.
1) If you have one of our Coconut
Sarong Ties, you simply pull both ends of your sarong through, and tie
them off. This is the easiest way to tie your sarong,
and it gives you extra hold and
security.
2) Or, grab each end of your sarong in one of your hands.
Bring both ends of the sarong in front of you. Pull the
sarong either to the left, or right. If you are pulling
to the right, bring the left side towards the right to
the desired width, holding on to the fringe, then begin
folding the longer portion that is out to the right,
around to the left. Keep wrapping, adjusting to where you
want the opening. Tuck the fringe up, and over the right
piece.
3) Again, starting with the sarong behind you, grab both
ends, keeping the fabric equal on both sides. Extend
your arms out in front of you, then bring the two pieces
towards you, criss crossing, then tie behind the neck.
4) Adjust the sarong to tie in the front, or on the
side, or in the back, around your waist or around your
chest. |
