What inspires our line of Resort Wear, Resort Clothing
and Beach Wear.
We travel about seven months each year and have the good
fortune of living our dreams. In 2008 our travels included
Morocco, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, India and Bali. You might
say, six once in a lifetime trips all in the same year.
Everywhere we traveled there were luxurious resorts that
literally took your breath away. And while our beach
vacation wasn't quite at the five star luxury resort
level, we stayed at some pretty amazing beach resorts. And
visited these places when we had the chance. And of
course, checked out all the latest Resort Clothing being
offered while showing the resorts our own Resort Clothing
lines.
In Morocco there was a small village on the ocean that
allowed no vehicles. How wonderful! We ended up staying in
a private villa owned by a German woman. In Casablanca we
stayed at an old heritage resort hotel. If you go you must
visit the most amazing Mosque I have ever seen. After
traveling around Morocco we took the boat from Tangiers to
Tarifa in Spain. All of Spain is wonderful but the
southern part is on the Sea. It has nice inclusive holiday
spots, the rock of
Gibraltar and the Marbella coast. Quite different from those in
Jamaica and resorts in the Caribbean. But different is
good!
We have lived in Turkey but had not been south to the
Sea. It was a truly amazing experience especially along the
Mediterranean coast. The ocean was so many shades of blue,
turquoise, teal and aqua that it seemed surreal. I have
never seen anything like it. And of course our clothing
reflects these same colors!
Our dear friends had a beach villa in Southern Turkey near
Bodrum. The small towns and villages in this area were so
quaint, clean and adorable it was one "Wow"
moment after another. My friends villa was especially nice
because at night instead of darkness we saw the lights of
the homes on the Greek Island of Kos.
With a minimum of a month in each country we were able to
cover a lot of territory while enjoying visiting the
upscale, five star hotels, resorts and spas our resort and
beach clothing is sold in, or we hope soon to be sold in.
Then there was Egypt. While most of Egypt is desert, Sharm
El Sheik is on the Red Sea and has the most
beautiful reef I have seen. We had lovely days out on the
boat, drift snorkeling off the reef, then heading back to
our resort, stopping at the Hyatt on the way to do more
snorkeling. This was nothing short of amazing! To walk out
of your hotel and the reef be right under your feet was a
new experience for me.
There aren't a lot of nudists resorts in this area, and
though we wore bathing suits, swimwear and beach clothing
that we manufacture, many women were fully covered as
their religion dictates.
Then it was off to India starting in Mumbai then heading
over to
Chennai (formerly Madras) where we made our way down to Pondicherry,
previously French ruled.. As usual we checked out all the beach resorts
but this area isn't quite as developed as other parts of
the world like Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Bali and
others. But we are flexible. We ended up doing yoga every day and ate wonderful French
food in addition to our Indian favorites so all worked
out.
Then it was off to Bali and of course it is difficult to
find more luxury resorts than here. But we have our
favorite places to stay, discovered more than 15 years ago
and each year we like to divide our time between the ocean
and the mountains. We know that our clothing is unique,
fun, light, versatile, colorful, travels well and is
affordable. We make sure of it. We hope you enjoy it as
